At THS, learning extends beyond the classroom. Surrounded by nature and connected to the local community, students are encouraged to explore, challenge themselves and develop a sense of responsibility towards others and the environment.

Service is one of the core values of THS. Students will have opportunities to contribute to their local community through meaningful activities, including fundraising, supporting children with limited educational support and participating in community initiatives.
At the same time, students are encouraged to appreciate Bhutanese culture, values and traditions while developing respect for different cultures and perspectives.
Through service and community engagement, students develop empathy, compassion, leadership, responsibility and sustainability.
